The inner section measures out at 8.5mm wide. Overall width of PLA is 2mm all round. They can stretch out a little if need be.
More variations on size of the inner section can be made if need be.
Note: Please make sure to check your bins sidewall width before purchasing. Some bins smaller than 8.5mm may see these clips loose and move around. after a while these clips may change shape of your bin is wider than given measurement. that’s perfectly normal and shouldn’t affect the way the kitchen bag clips work.
